Private Citizens Do Their Part to Help Katrina Victims

Community Technology | Disaster Relief | Website

Private citizens like Katrina.com owner, Katrina Blankenship, are helping to provide housing, unite family members, and find jobs for hurricane victims through online and offline efforts. Blankenship, for example, using a dial-up connection, turned her small business site into a portal for victims to reunite with family members.
